| KLAROL Oil Cleaning System can remove contamination down to less than one micron, water, air & gases and lower oxidized molecules of oil from hydraulic oils. KLAROL can be installed permanently on any hydraulic power-pack as a by-pass oil cleaning unit. It can be installed with a pressure reducing valve taking oil inlet from the high pressure machine oil circuit or it can be installed with a separate pump / motor to take out oil from the parent tank. KLAROL can also be used as a mobile machine to clean oil in a number of machines. |

KLAROL - Unique features: KLAROL Oil Cleaning System can remove contamination down to less than one micron, water, air & gases and lower oxidised molecules of oil from hydraulic oils. KLAROL can be installed permanently on any hydraulic power-pack as a by-pass oil cleaning unit. It can be installed with a pressure reducing valve taking oil inlet from the high pressure machine oil circuit or it can be installed with a separate pump/motor to take out oil from the parent tank. KLAROL can also be used as a mobile machine to clean oil in a number of machines. KLAROL mobile machines are fitted with pump / motor, pre-heater, vacuum pump etc to clean oil in the parent machine oil tank or outside it in drums or other reservoirs. Technical Feasibility Machines already have filters. Why do we need the KLAROL Oil Cleaning system for cleaning hydraulic oils ?

KLAROL Mobile Oil Cleaning Machines come fitted with suction filters to take out bigger contaminants and to protect the machine pump. These machines come fitted with surface filters installed in series for fast filtration. They are available with the patented KLAROL purifiers, pre-heaters and vacuum pump for faster water and coolant removal. These machines are also available with a combination ofseries filters and KLAROL depth filters where only solid contamination needs to be removed. KLAROL Oil Cleaning Systems can purify oil down to NAS 4, from more than NAS 12. They are capable of removing sludge, varnish & lacquer from all oils. These systems can also remove emulsified water from oils down to less than 50 ppm.

KLAROL cleans oil in two stages using three different methods. In the first stage oil enters the KLAROL depth filter to be cleaned by Absorbtion. All solid contaminants upto five microns are removed in this stage. The oil then passes at a controlled flow rate into the KLAROL evaporation chamber which is heated to ensure a dry airspace. Controlling the flow of oil through KLAROL ensures formation of thin oil film in the evaporation chamber. These conditions are ideal to evaporate moisture, lower oxidized molecules of oil, air & gases from the oil. Purified oil then goes back into the parent tank. The KLAROL depth filter also removes insoluble contamination like sludge, varnish, and particles smaller than a micron by Adsorption i.e. (attracting and trapping the contamination in its filtering medium) when oil is continuously cycled through KLAROL. Initial by products of oxidation, like metal salts & water catalyze the process of oxidation making it a chain reaction. Oxidized lower molecular weight products are initially soluble in oil. Over a period of time they polymerize into heavy molecular weight products which turn into sludge, varnish and lacquer thereby causing malfunctioning of the machine. KLAROL has the capability of removing all solid by products of oxidation. It is also capable of removing water and the oxidized lower molecular weight products of the oil. By removing these contaminants as soon as they are formed KLAROL ensures that the process of oxidation is minimized and the chain reaction is broken. Removal of the lower molecular weight products, ensures that there is no formation of sludge, varnish and lacquer. One of the primary reasons for thermal degradation of oil is aeration or free air in the oil. KLAROL prevents oil from getting thermally degraded by releasing free air from oil. KLAROL is different from other oil filtration machines! It not only removes but also prevents generation of contamination. |
KLAROL can be installed permanently on a machine without a supply pump. Taking oil pressure directly from the machine has many advantages. A pressure reducing valve is used to reduce the pressure of oil inlet to KLAROL. KLAROL works as a by-pass oil cleaning unit. The measured quantum of oil taken ensures that there is no drop in the machine oil pressure. Permanent cleaning of oil can ensure a NAS Vaue 4 quality hydraulic oil in the Powerpack at all times since oil is continuously cleaned while the machine is in operation. KLAROL has been successfully operating as a permanent attachment on Injection Moulding machines like Supermaster, Ferromatic, Sperry, Haitian, Windsor, and many others. It has also been successfully operating as a permanent attachment on Scrap Baling machines, on Toyoda Grinding machines, on hydraulic presses, on earth moving equipments, etc.

For critical applications permanent KLAROL installations on powerpacks ensure an oil cleanliness value of NAS 4 at all times. Permanent KLAROL installation also helps to protect lubricant additives and prevents base oil from degrading. This ensures indefinite oil life. |
